What is the CCAA?

The CCAA is a voluntary association of Charitable organizations and institutions interested in and/or involved in the issuing of Charitable Gift Annuities (CGA's).

The CCAA sets standards for its members regarding the following items:

Recommended annuity rates
Advertising and promotion of CGA's by members
Charitable Gift Annuity agreements
Reserves and investment practices

The CCAA also provides its members with the following benefits:

Advice and updates on legislative changes
Ongoing contact with governments
Cooperative sharing of technical information
Sharing of professional expertise
Participation in actuarial studies
